Health & Physical Education

Health and physical education (PE) are important academic subjects that teach students to be physically active, work as a team, and set fitness goals that can last a lifetime. The fitness-based skills that students learn in PE are what emerging research shows is essential to learning.
 
Students are required to take 4 full years of Physical Education to meet graduation requirements.
Gym is held 2 or 3 times per week depending on the semester.
 
Students are required to take 1 credit of Health to meet graduation requirements. Health is usually taken in 9th grade. Health is held 2 or 3 times per week depending on the semester.
